What benefits does BMW Digital Premium offer in the 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe?

The optional "BMW Digital Premium" offer extends the functions of BMW Maps and the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant and includes additional My Modes. The extended functions of BMW Maps include Advanced Real Time Traffic Information (RTTI) with color representation in the complete map area (even without activated guidance), 3D representations of buildings and orientation points, realistic visualization of lane keeping for complex exit ramps and intersections, satellite maps as well as additional dynamic information for points of interest in selected categories. Additional vehicle apps (e.g., Traffic Camera Information, Welcome Light Animation) and third-party apps for audio (e.g., Audible, Amazon Music, Spotify), video (powered by Xperi TiVo) and gaming (e.g., UNO) are already installed or are available for download from the BMW ConnectedDrive Store in the vehicle. All apps can be used with unlimited data volume via a 4G/LTE-capable SIM card in your BMW, or optionally with the option "Personal eSIM" via the 5G mobile radio standard. 

 

Please note: In the 2025 BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, the personal hotspot and telephone service via the vehicle's external antenna are not yet activated at market introduction. Activation takes place at a later date as part of a Remote Software Upgrade.
