You can find the smart scan function in the main menu of the BMW Driver's Guide app by clicking on the blue magnifying glass icon in the bottom right-hand corner. Then select the "Smart Scan" tab on the top right-hand side. Scan function keys in the interior of your BMW with the camera of your smartphone to display the information you are looking for. Do not turn the camera, avoid reflections, and make sure there is sufficient lighting.
