How do I update BMW ConnectedDrive apps and services in my BMW with BMW Operating System 8.5?

Your BMW receives data from the BMW Cloud via an integrated SIM card. If a fault occurs during the use of BMW ConnectedDrive services or at the instruction of BMW ConnectedDrive customer support, select the following in your BMW with BMW Operating System 8.5.

 

Update BMW Assist in the vehicle by performing the following steps:

  • Via iDrive: Apps menu
  • "Vehicle apps"
  • "System settings"
  • "Update Apps and Services"
  • "Search for updates"
