Depending on the model and equipment of your BMW, you can display and operate the apps of your compatible smartphone with Android Auto on the control display. Please note: To use Android Auto, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth® must be activated on your smartphone.
Android Auto is available for BMW models with BMW Operating System 7 (service pack 2018), BMW Operating System 8 and BMW Operating System 8.5 with the option "Connected Package Professional" (SA 6C3/6C4), "Connected Package Plus" (SA 6C2) or "smartphone integration" (SA 6CP) ex works. In BMW models with BMW Operating System 9, Android Auto is part of the standard equipment or the option "Connectivity Unlimited" (SA 6C6) ex works.
