How do I change the settings for Amazon Alexa in my BMW with BMW Operating System 8?

Amazon Alexa Car Integration is a digital assistant from Amazon and can be set up in your BMW and in the My BMW App. To change the settings for Amazon Alexa Car Integration in your BMW with BMW Operating System 8, select the following in BMW iDrive:

  1. Apps Menu
  2. "Amazon Alexa" and select the desired setting. 

 

Please note: For the full range of functions, you need an active Amazon account, a BMW ID or a driver profile is active.
